ATV RENTALS

Very special place in highest county in "lower 48". Lake City and the surrounding environs is a magical retreat in the midst of a national forest and wilderness areas in south central Colorado Rockies. The Lake Fork of the Gunnison River and many ancillary creeks runs through it. Lake San Cristobal nearby. The mountainsides are strewn with boulders, aspen, Douglas fir, Colorado blue spruce, mountain laurel, and sagebrush. Accessible by major highways yet remote from the nearest cities by 1 ½ hour drive, Hinsdale County is the least populated county in Colorado with nearly 92% of the county accessible public lands. Free of the piles of stuff that endlessly accumulate in our surroundings and in our minds, there's nothing to do but relax and have fun activities. Your neighbors may be bear, moose, deer, antelope, rabbit, chipmunks, ground squirrel, ducks, marmot, beaver, Canadian geese and several species of birds, eagles, owls, and falcons. With the increasing pace of modern life, the desire to escape and return to a simpler life has an even greater importance to our well-being and vitality.
